Beat smith Oh No returns with his highly anticipated new LP. Being the little brother of master Madlib, you know this is going to be good, even if you're new to Oh No's work. Going off of Madlib's system to select a country's native music as the theme of the beats, Ethiopium is all about Ethiopian jazz samples.
Highly blunted, funky and soulful, there really isn't a dull moment on this album. Some of my favorite tracks are Melody Mix, The Funk and Adventure. Really blunted stuff. Oh No might be taking over Madlib's legacy pretty soon.
