The future of music is here, and it comes in the form of cosmic beats. Producer Flying Lotus' second LP, Los Angeles is a study in experimental left-field electronic hip hop. His sound is unique to glitch hop. It's highly textured, spaced out and gorgeous. The music provokes images in the head of listener of 40's black and white noir, 80's club dance tunes and middle eastern desert scene under the night sky.
Muddy bass samples, swirling video game synths, pounding percussion and diverse influential sound makes this album the masterpiece it is. Highly recommended.
