What tempo, Captain?
Just had this sent to me yesterday from 'Get Digital'. Ocuban was featured on the first Jus Like Music & Apple Juice Present : Oscillations Part with two outstanding tracks, probably some of the best on the entire compilation.
Behave Decently is the Brazilian producers first EP and it's extremely strong. My first time hearing it, I thought this guy had to have been a long time master in the downtempo/glitch hop scene, but he's just starting. Lots of melody and layers, the sound is something along the lines of Perfuse 73 and early Flylo. There's good samples, nice percussion, live instrumentation and some vocal work from guests to give the EP a complete feel. I suspect good things from Ocuban in the near future.
