King Khan & BBQ - Invisible Girl

(8)

King Khan is back thank God. It's been too long without some good old school garage rock. King Khan has that old old school doo-wap vibe, reminiscent of the great Sam Cooke (Twistin the Night Away). There's a good balaence between hard ass tracks (I'll Be Loving You) and softer ones (Third Ave.) as well, which sets it apart from his first LP. I love this sound, and I can't say enough good things about King Khan and all of his projects.

If you dig Black Lips or Harlem and want to hear a new spin on the garage rock scene, check it out.

Sounds Like
Loud ass early 60's rock and roll
